The court banned the Metropolitan of the UOC MP from leaving for the UN: details of the decision
According to glavcom.ua: The court refused Metropolitan Theodosius the return of his foreign passport. He was accused of inciting religious hatred, but his defenders tried to prove that he needed to participate in a UN session. However, the prosecutor objected, asserting that he could cooperate with international organizations via video conferencing.
The court also determined that documents submitted by Ukrainian lawyers must be translated into Ukrainian. This complies with the legislation on the Ukrainian state language. The metropolitan can cooperate with representatives of international organizations through video conferences or by sending necessary documents or explanations.
