Military criticized the conscription methods
Недостатня ефективність мобілізації в Україні: думки офіцера про причини.

The deputy commander of the Third Army Corps, Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Maksym Zhorin, believes that the methods of mobilization are only worsening the quality of personnel and undermining the fairness of conscription during martial law.

'I understand that someone is deciding to fulfill the plans this way, but because we are mobilizing homeless people, elderly individuals, and those who are unwell, no one in the army is getting better. Every year, the quality of personnel is getting worse, and everyone knows it. This depends not only on training but also on the categories of citizens that end up in the military. We do not touch gyms and restaurants in the cities, yet we send homeless people to the units.'

, - said the military.

Zhorin emphasized that Ukraine will not be able to compete with Russia in terms of numbers. He added that the nation needs a technological and well-trained army, but there is no point in replenishing it with people who are not physically or morally prepared for service.

According to Zhorin, fairness in mobilization in Ukraine leaves much to be desired.

Maksym Zhorin, deputy commander of the Third Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, believes that the mobilization methods currently applied in the country lead to a deterioration in the quality of personnel and violate the principles of fairness in conscription during martial law. In particular, he points out that the level of training in military structures is declining due to the conscription of individuals unfit for service, such as homeless or sick citizens.
