The Ministry of Education has published the school holiday schedule for 2025-2026: all dates

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has already determined the possible dates for school holidays for the 2025-2026 academic year in advance. According to the government decree, the academic process will start on September 1, 2025, and will continue until the end of June 2026.

The Ministry of Education recommends holding autumn holidays from October 27 to November 2, 2025, however, each educational institution may set its own dates, taking into account learning needs, safety, and the epidemiological situation.

The approximate dates for the holidays are as follows: autumn - from October 27 to November 2, 2025, winter - from December 27, 2025, to January 11, 2026, spring - from March 23 to March 29, 2026, summer - from June 1 until the start of the new academic year. According to the requirements, students must be provided with at least one month of holidays during the academic year.

The published approximate dates for school holidays for the 2025-2026 academic year indicate a possible distribution of time for student rest throughout the year and allow educational institutions to plan the academic process more flexibly, taking into account their specific features and needs.
