Kyiv Region: Major Forest Fire in Bucha District Still Being Extinguished
According to ДСНС: Firefighters are working to contain a large forest fire near the village of Tarasivshchyna in the Bucha district of Kyiv Oblast. The blaze has consumed 70 hectares of forest floor and 30 hectares of open land. As of 6:30 PM local time, the fire has been contained.
Teams involved in the firefighting effort include:
- Emergency responders from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine,
- Staff from the Dymer Forestry,
- Firefighting units of the National Guard,
- Volunteers from the Red Cross rapid response team.
