The driver of the car, moving towards the village of Shesternia in Kryvyi Rih district, ran over a pedestrian born in 1998, leading to his death on the spot.

«Due to the fatal accident in Kryvyi Rih district, investigative authorities have opened a criminal proceeding. Currently, the police are establishing the circumstances of the pedestrian's runover, searching for the car and the driver who left the scene of the accident,» the statement says.

According to local publication «Svoї. Kryvyi Rih», the driver crashed into a veteran with a prosthesis, who lost a lot of blood at the scene of the accident.
