According to glavcom.ua: According to Tatum, the NBA is currently actively working on franchise payouts ranging from $500 million to $1 billion and has engaged analytical companies to refine the business plan. The main goal is to launch the project within the next two years and assess interest from the NBA and FIBA.

The NBA plans to finalize franchise fees in the coming months with the aim of launching a project in Europe in two years. This was announced by NBA Deputy Commissioner Mark Tatum. Earlier, the NBA and FIBA announced their intention to create a new professional basketball league in Europe that will serve as an alternative to the EuroLeague.

About clubs and project deployment

According to Tatum, the new league may include both existing clubs and new potential teams, as well as even football clubs looking to invest in the basketball league. The first stage is expected to target 10-12 cities, including the UK, Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Turkey, and possibly Greece.
