According to glavcom.ua: Swimmer Penny Oleksiak received a two-year suspension due to a violation of anti-doping rules. She failed to provide accurate data about her whereabouts for 12 months. The organization has already imposed her suspension until July 2027, but she will still be able to participate in the 2028 Olympic Games.
Ukraine impressed with its achievements at the European Youth Olympic Festival, winning 23 medals: 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze. This is its second-best result in the history of the Festivals, and judo became the most successful sport. The hard work of Ukrainian athletes has already yielded results, and we are proud of their accomplishments.
