Over 100 thousand doses of flu vaccine have arrived in Ukraine: where and when it will appear

A new batch of 100 thousand doses of the flu vaccine will reach Ukraine, the Ministry of Health reported. These doses will be additional to the vaccine already delivered from the Korean manufacturer. All these vaccines passed quality control and will be available in medical institutions and pharmacies of the country in the near future.

The Ministry emphasized that annual vaccination against the flu is an important measure to protect against complications, especially in the fall, when the peak incidence usually occurs. Flu vaccination can be done simultaneously with COVID-19 vaccination or with a short interval between them.

'The peak of flu and ARVI incidence usually falls in November-December. The only reliable protection against severe complications is annual vaccination,' the Ministry emphasized.

The Ministry reported the arrival of a new batch of 100 thousand doses of the flu vaccine. These vaccines are additional to those already previously delivered. Annual flu vaccination improves protection against complications, especially in the fall. It is also important that flu vaccination can be done simultaneously with COVID-19 vaccination.
