Weather in the south changes Russian tactics: fewer drones, more artillery and assaults

Combat operations in the south: assault units
Погода на півдні впливає на стратегію військових: збільшення використання артилерії та штурмових атак замість безпілотників.

Spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces, Vladyslav Voloshyn, explained that conditions with poor visibility lead to less use of drones by the enemy. However, this does not stop the overall intensity of enemy attacks, as the Russians compensate for this by intensifying artillery shelling.

Russian occupation forces are forced to change their tactics due to deteriorating weather conditions in the south of the country. In particular, the use of drones is decreasing, but the activity of artillery is increasing, and assault actions are being prepared.

'One of the stages at which we are trying to stop them is the redeployment of personnel to the forward positions, so we are trying to hit them earlier. When weather conditions deteriorate, they will try to do this more intensively,' Voloshyn noted.

Deteriorating weather conditions in southern Ukraine are affecting the tactics of enemy forces. Russian occupiers are changing their actions: they are using fewer drones, but are intensifying artillery and preparing for an assault. Local armed forces are adapting to the new conditions to defend their positions.
