Weather in Ukraine on October 3: Frost in the West and Summer Warmth in the South
Weather forecast for October 3, 2025
According to forecasts by meteorologist Natalka Didenko, a dry day is expected in Ukraine on October 3, with sharp temperature variations across regions. The warmest weather will be in the east and south of the country, where daytime temperatures will reach almost summer values, while the western regions will remain the coldest with nighttime frosts.
In the southern and eastern regions of Ukraine, as well as in Dnipropetrovsk and Poltava regions, temperatures are expected to reach +14...+19 degrees. In the central regions, particularly in Vinnytsia and Cherkasy, temperatures will fluctuate from +10 to +14 degrees. Northern regions will warm up to +10...+13 degrees. The lowest temperature readings will be in the western regions, where it will only be +8...+11 degrees during the day, and at night temperatures will drop to 0...+4 degrees, with the possibility of frosts down to -1 degree.
'On Friday, Ukrainians can finally breathe a sigh of relief from the rain, and in some places, the sun will peep out, if the fogs do not cover it,'
- emphasized the meteorologist.
Today in Kyiv it will be cold, but tomorrow warming is expected up to +12 degrees, and on Saturday - up to +14 degrees. In the following days, the forecast for the capital is +10...+13 degrees. The wind will be mainly easterly, brisk, and in the south and east, even strong.
Regarding the heating season, Natalka Didenko reported:
'There is no talk of heating yet, as the average daily air temperature must be lower than +8 degrees for at least three days.'
'Keep warm, think about alternative safe sources of heat, for example, about additional cats, and do not hesitate to wear thick or funny hats - let's stay healthy!' - advised the meteorologist to Ukrainians.
