Dia Portal Cuts Employee Reservation Renewal to 24 Hours

Streamlined Online Renewal for Employee Reservations on the Dia Portal

According to ХВИЛЯ: An updated online service for extending employee reservations is now live on Ukraine's state services portal, Dia. The renewal process, which previously could take up to three days, has been dramatically reduced to a maximum of 24 hours. This accelerated service is available to directors, authorized signatories, or other designated representatives of companies listed in the Unified Register.

This modernization of the service was implemented by the Ministry of Economy in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine. The project was supported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Government of Sweden. This initiative is part of a broader digital transformation effort in Ukraine, aimed at making government services more efficient for citizens and businesses. Platform developers highlighted the change, stating:

'The process is now entirely different. Reservations can be renewed online via the Dia portal, with the entire procedure taking up to 24 hours, and employee statuses are updated promptly without cancellations or delays.'

How to Use the New Accelerated Service

To take advantage of this faster service, users must:

• Log in to the portal;
• Select the 'Employee Reservation Renewal' option;
• Verify the company's data;
• Add the required employees;
• Approve the application with a qualified electronic signature (QES).

The key condition for using this fast-track renewal is that the employee must have a current reservation status and there must be no change in their job position. If the reservation period has already expired or the employee's role has changed, the system will require a standard application to be submitted under general procedures.

The introduction of this new feature on the Dia portal represents a significant step in simplifying administrative procedures for businesses in Ukraine. Reducing the time required to renew an employee's status can substantially improve the efficiency of human resource management, particularly amid rapid economic and labor market changes. This effort underscores the state's commitment to implementing digital technologies to enhance public services and support entrepreneurs.
