Russia spread fake news about a landing in Kherson: actual enemy losses

Russian propaganda fabricated 'landing' in Kherson: all occupant attacks repelled
Фальшиві новини Росії про висадку в Херсоні: реальні втрати ворога.

Russian propaganda disseminates fake information about a landing on Quarantine Island in Kherson, said the spokesman for the 30th Marine Corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Colonel Oleksandr Zavtonov. Enemy troops attempted to storm the island four times but without success. Ukrainian forces repelled the attacks, preventing a breakthrough of the front line despite the spread of debunked information.

“Russian sources began to spread false claims about an alleged 'landing' on Quarantine Island in the Koral district of Kherson. This disinformation has nothing to do with reality,” Zavtonov categorically denied.

According to the colonel, Russian troops used the bad weather to attempt a storming, but the main goal of their actions was to create informational noise rather than achieve strategic victories. During the clashes, Ukrainian defenders destroyed nine enemy fighters and damaged four artillery systems that shelled Kherson and its surroundings.

Ukrainian military personnel are countering provocations from Russian propaganda, confirming their readiness and effectiveness in defending the territorial integrity of the country.
