According to Главком: On May 27, Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada voted to terminate the parliamentary mandate of Volodymyr Tsabal, a member of the Holos party. The decision passed on its second attempt, with 257 lawmakers supporting it. The issue was first brought to a vote on May 12, but it failed at that time, receiving only 209 votes against the required minimum of 226.
Background and Career of Volodymyr Tsabal
Born on April 25, 1985, in the city of Kremenets, Ternopil region, Volodymyr Tsabal graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and earned an MBA from the INSEAD business school. He began his career in 2005 as a data analysis specialist at Tetra Pak Ukraine, a subsidiary of the global packaging company.
From 2006 to 2007, he worked as a business analyst at Nestlé Ukraine LLC. In 2007, he held positions at Nestlé Hellas SA in Athens, Greece, and led a team at Nestlé Bulgaria in Sofia.
Between 2008 and 2019, Tsabal served as an associate partner at the consulting firm McKinsey & Company. In 2019, he was elected to the Verkhovna Rada of the 9th convocation as a member of the Holos party, ranking 12th on its candidate list. In June 2021, he announced his decision to join the Justice faction and expressed no confidence in the head of the Holos party's parliamentary faction, alongside ten other deputies.
