According to glavcom.ua: This morning, three Russian kamikaze drones 'Shahed' attacked Kharkiv. One of them hit directly into a building where a private kindergarten was located. Unfortunately, one person was killed. The children who were in the kindergarten were quickly taken to a shelter, but the second floor of the building collapsed.

«Today Kharkiv miraculously avoided a major tragedy. The final circumstances of this situation will be clarified by the investigation», - noted the mayor Ihor Terekhov.

Rescuers successfully evacuated all 48 children who were in the building. However, unfortunately, during the enemy attack, a worker of KP 'Shlyakhrembud' was killed. A woman and other utility workers were also injured.

Need for certified kindergartens

Ihor Terekhov emphasized that this incident once again highlighted the importance of building underground, certified kindergartens in Kharkiv. The mayor stressed that the safety of children must be guaranteed, not just hoped for luck.

«I have repeatedly said and I repeat: in Kharkiv, it is necessary to build real certified kindergartens underground», - stated Terekhov.

Currently, rescuers, law enforcement, and medical personnel continue to work at the attack site to assist the victims and eliminate the consequences of the attack.

As a result of the morning drone attack on Kharkiv, one man was killed, but all children from the kindergarten were saved. The mayor emphasizes the need to build underground children's facilities to ensure the safety of children in the city.
