Pension Fund Reform: Why People with Disabilities Cannot Travel Abroad for Treatment

According to glavcom.ua: Representatives of the Pension Fund revealed that after the reform, all social payments were halted, and those not serving in the Armed Forces need to undergo re-examination to continue their certificates. Individuals with new conclusions will be able to obtain a new certificate to receive their pension.
Disabled individuals in Ukraine are facing new challenges at the border. Yurii Kozak was denied treatment abroad due to a lack of necessary documents. He explained that this happened due to the reform that transferred the affairs of disabled persons to the Pension Fund. The man lost money on tickets and hotel reservations due to the inability to cross the border.
Every day, disabled individuals face new problems, including when traveling abroad. Reforms in public administration can lead to difficulties in addressing their needs and receiving assistance, affecting their quality of life.
