Salaries in Ukrainian retail increased by 31%: who earns the most

In 2024, Ukrainian retail showed recovery after the difficult year of 2022, leading to a significant increase in employee salaries. According to the financial reports of major retail companies, the average monthly salary in the trade sector has increased by almost a third.

The highest average salaries are paid to employees by companies operating in the premium segment or have significant internal resources. The leaders are GoodWine, where the average salary exceeds 82 thousand hryvnias, ATB-Market with a figure of over 52 thousand hryvnias, and Roshen with an average payment of over 41 thousand hryvnias.

The top 10 also includes Rozetka.UA, TSUM Kyiv, the Samsung network, and Duty Free. At the same time, companies in the pharmacy and cosmetic segments, such as Express Pharmacy, Watsons, Eva, and the First Pharmacy of Kharkiv, showed significant salary growth.

Ukrainian retail demonstrated positive trends in 2024, increasing the average salary of employees. Leaders in terms of payment are companies in the premium segment and those with large internal resources. Additionally, significant salary growth is observed in the pharmacy and cosmetic sectors.
