Popular American actor Robert De Niro expressed his opinion about the US President Donald Trump, considering him harmful to the country. On the MSNBC show The Weekend, the actor noted that Trump intends to cause damage to the USA and lacks compassion for people, even calling him an 'alien'.

De Niro is convinced that Trump wishes to bring pain to people and is not interested in the future of the country. The actor urged citizens to protest on October 18, 'No Kings' day, against the president's plans to strip Americans of democracy, encouraging the preservation of it.
White House Communications Director Steven Chung commented on the actor's critical remarks, calling him irrelevant and stating that De Niro is only inciting violence and expressing hatred, losing his significance over the past 30 years.
