Russia attacks energy facilities on the front
According to hvylya.net: Ukrainian Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk reported that Russia is launching attacks on energy facilities in the frontline regions, leading to widespread darkness and cold.
In particular, the Ukrainian gas infrastructure is being targeted, making it essential to receive assistance from partners to restore and strengthen the protection of the infrastructure, as well as to prepare additional gas reserves for winter. Hrynchuk also expressed gratitude to allies for their support.
'The supply of additional air defense systems to protect critical infrastructure, additional financial resources, assistance in the swift search, delivery, and installation of equipment that can functionally replace damaged ones, are among our priorities,'
- emphasized Hrynchuk. During the meeting of G7+ leaders, the energy minister expressed concern over attacks on energy facilities and called for joint efforts to protect infrastructure and ensure energy security in Ukraine.
