Russia prepares Donetsk airport for mass drone attacks: new intelligence data

According to glavcom.ua: Russian military is preparing for new drone attacks in the occupied territories of Ukraine. According to data from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), they plan to expand the use of the Donetsk airport area for these purposes.
The occupiers have already begun works to clear fortifications on the runway, construct storage facilities, and drone control points. Ukrainian intelligence even recorded potential restoration of the airport, indicating preparations for further combat actions.
Analysts warn that using drones for attacks from the occupied territory could significantly increase the threat to Ukraine and NATO countries, reducing response time to strikes from Russia.
