Russia carried out 59 airstrikes in a day: General Staff named the hottest directions

As of October 8 at 22:00, there were 162 combat actions in the clash areas. The Ukrainian military continues to defend their positions and inflict fire damage on the enemy army to ensure the security of the territory. This has been reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Over the past day, the enemy carried out 59 airstrikes and launched a number of attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian troops. As a result of these actions, 113 guided bombs were lost, 1768 kamikaze drones were used, and 3238 shellings of our units and civilian settlements were conducted.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian troops inflicted significant losses on the enemy army. 144 occupiers were eliminated, of which 99 - irretrievably. Equipment of the enemy was also neutralized and damaged. The situation remains tense, and battles continue.

In these directions, clashes also took place. The enemy army carried out nine airstrikes and a number of artillery shellings. Combat actions are ongoing.

The enemy attacked several districts, destroying peaceful settlements. Fighting continues in some locations.
