While emergency crews worked to extinguish a fire caused by a subsequent shelling, five State Emergency Service (DSNS) personnel were killed. Ukraine’s Interior Minister, Ihor Klymenko, confirmed the deaths and noted that at least five other rescuers sustained injuries.
