According to glavcom.ua: Today, August 5, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office announced the search for candidates for public service positions. This information was provided to the 'Glavkom' portal by a representative of SAP.

'In connection with the entry into force of the Law of Ukraine dated July 31, 2025 No. 4560-IX 'On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine to Strengthen the Powers of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office', we announce the search for candidates for the position of chief specialist (psychologist-polygraph examiner) of the internal control department,' the message says.

According to information from SAP, the chief specialist of the internal control department will conduct polygraph tests of prosecutors' employees, analyze the psychological state of workers, and carry out psychological prevention in the sphere of offenses and corruption.

  • conducting polygraph tests of prosecutors' employees who have access to state secrets to identify potential actions in the interest of the aggressor state;
  • analyzing the psychological state of employees while performing official duties;
  • applying psychological methods to prevent offenses, corruption, and other negative phenomena in the work of the prosecutor's office.

The independence of NABU and SAP has been restored

On July 22, 2025, the Verkhovna Rada adopted draft law No. 12414 'On Amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine Regarding the Features of Pre-Trial Investigation of Criminal Offenses Related to the Disappearance of Persons Under Special Circumstances During Martial Law.' However, this law included provisions that excessively restricted the independence of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office. 263 deputies supported this law.

NABU Director Semen Kryvonos believes that many deputies who voted for the weakening of the powers of NABU and SAP found themselves in a conflict of interest situation. Nevertheless, on July 31, the Rada restored the independence of NABU and SAP by supporting draft law No. 13533. This was preceded by protests and critical statements from international partners.

The SAP team is looking for new employees ready to engage in polygraph examinations and psychological prevention in the sphere of offenses and corruption. At the same time, following the attempt to weaken the independence of NABU and SAP, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a law restoring their rights, promoting the interests of anti-corruption bodies.
