According to glavcom.ua: In Ternopil, a sixth-grade student became a victim of an attempt by Russian special services to recruit her for subversive activities. According to the police of Ternopil region, as reported by the publication «Hlavkom», the girl was offered to set fire to transport via a Telegram channel.

The law enforcement authorities explained that recruitment usually follows a standard scheme: first, simple tasks are offered, and then attempts are made to involve individuals in serious crimes through blackmail or promises of money.

  • Notify parents, teachers, or trusted individuals.

Thanks to the schoolgirl's attentiveness in promptly reporting to the inspector of the educational safety service, the recruitment attempt was stopped. All necessary services received the information and are currently working on this case.

It is worth noting that Russian special services are using new methods to recruit Ukrainians. Kyrylo Budanov, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, emphasized that recruitment attempts can be easily recognized. He also noted that individuals attempting to recruit may pose as representatives of various agencies, including Ukrainian or European services.
