Syrskyi refuted the blocking of Pokrovsk: the real situation at the front has been named
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, rejected Russia's claims about the alleged 'blocking' of Ukrainian troops in Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, and in Kupiansk, Kharkiv region, calling them unreliable information.
'In Pokrovsk, the enemy's infantry is avoiding battles and is in the urban development. Our task is to identify and destroy them,' he emphasized.
Syrskyi also stressed the importance of intelligence work and strike drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine that are operating in the city. He noted that effective cooperation between units and accurate task execution must be ensured.
Regarding the Dobropil operation
Currently, assault units continue to advance up to 550 meters in certain directions. In total, during the operation, 186.8 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory have been liberated, and 246.8 square kilometers have been freed from enemy reconnaissance and sabotage groups, the Commander-in-Chief reported.
Regarding the information from the General Staff and the President
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that the Russian message about the encirclement of Ukrainian troops in Kupiansk and Pokrovsk is a lie, and in fact, the enemy's activity in these areas has decreased.
'At the front in Pokrovsk, a significant number of enemy infantry has penetrated the city; we are holding positions, but the city is divided into zones of influence,' Syrskyi said.
The Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief refuted Russia's propaganda claims about the blocking of Ukrainian troops and emphasized the importance of advancing, intelligence operations, and effective cooperation between units.
