It is hard to be confident: Navy on the Russian sea drone
According to hvylya.net: Ukrainian servicemen expressed doubts about the new Russian development of a sea drone, which was showcased on social media. The spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, Dmitry Pletenchuk, noted that it is difficult to assess the characteristics of this equipment, as Russian media tend to exaggerate them.
'They demonstrated the sea drone during the so-called 'July Storm'. This could have been one of the key episodes during these exercises - to showcase their new weapon systems,' he explained.
Pletenchuk emphasized that the video was circulated only within the Russian fleet on social media, which raises questions about its authenticity.
'Being confident about the characteristics, or the authenticity of this process is quite difficult because, as a rule, they always try to exaggerate the parameters of their equipment. As a result, it is quite challenging to analyze this,' the Navy spokesman emphasized.
Ukrainian servicemen warn of real threats from the Russian Federation, which tends to copy successful experiences and expand its technologies.
'As for copying experience - yes. It is possible. They always try to copy successful experiences and scale them. Therefore, this threat should be regarded as real,' the speaker emphasized.
Evaluating Russian statements about the new equipment, Ukrainian servicemen remain cautious due to the spread of unreliable information and the tendency to exaggerate parameters.
