Experts do not particularly believe in a significant strengthening of the hryvnia.

Euro

According to the forecast by FOREX CLUB in Ukraine, the selling rate of the euro in Ukraine in September will depend on both the internal dynamics of the US dollar and the situation on the international market. Most factors indicate that the euro will continue to fall due to the strengthening of the hryvnia and the US dollar, against the backdrop of positive macroeconomic data and the likelihood that the EU will impose new sanctions against Russia, reports KP.

According to analysts at FOREX CLUB in Ukraine, the euro's fluctuation range on the international market in September may be 1.2950–1.3350. The average selling rate of cash euro, with a stable dollar rate, may fluctuate in the range of 16.73–17.24 UAH.

US Dollar

In September, the hryvnia may strengthen against the US dollar against the backdrop of the IMF's decision to allocate another tranche of loans to Ukraine, receiving 100 million dollars from the Japan International Cooperation Agency, and agreements between the NBU and several major banks to sell currency no higher than 12.5 UAH/dollar. Additional support for the hryvnia will be provided by the EU's readiness to offer financial assistance to Ukraine if the IMF considers this support necessary.

As a risk factor for the country's investment attractiveness, the ongoing military conflict in Donbas continues to exert significant pressure on the economy, hindering the likelihood of its rapid recovery. The average selling rate of cash US dollars in September, according to analysts at FOREX CLUB in Ukraine, may be 12.4–13.7 UAH.

Russian Ruble

In September, the Russian currency will continue to weaken against the backdrop of deteriorating economic conditions in Russia, capital outflows, and potential declines in oil prices. However, the Central Bank of Russia has sufficient resources to prevent a large-scale devaluation of the ruble. The selling rate of cash rubles in September may range from 0.31 to 0.357 UAH.
