Administrative Case Against Oleg Lyashko Closed

According to Главком: A Kyiv court has dismissed an administrative case against Oleg Lyashko, leader of the Radical Party, citing a lack of evidence that he committed an offense. The ruling was based on the absence of proof that Lyashko was aware of violations in the party's financial report for the first quarter of 2025. In late October 2024, the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NAZK) had filed an administrative protocol against Lyashko, alleging incomplete information about financial obligations concerning a 31,200 hryvnia debt from the party's Ternopil branch.

The court decided not to suspend the proceedings despite Lyashko's military mobilization, noting the absence of relevant provisions in the Administrative Offenses Code. The review established that Lyashko was not informed about the enforcement proceedings related to the party's financial liabilities. It is worth noting that the Ternopil branch of the Radical Party has its own head, which may also explain Lyashko's lack of oversight over these financial matters. This case highlights the complex legal environment for Ukrainian politicians, particularly those serving in the military.

Oleg Lyashko's Military Service and Legal Affairs

Oleg Lyashko has been serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine since September 4, 2023, performing duties in the unmanned systems battalion of the 63rd Separate Mechanized Brigade. In 2025, he was appointed commander of this battalion. Separately, another NAZK protocol filed against Lyashko is currently under consideration by the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv.

In a related personal matter, in March 2025, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv declined to consider an application from Lyashko's wife, Rosita Lyashko, for divorce. She had initially filed for divorce in mid-September 2024, and the court in December 2024 scheduled a simplified hearing, giving Lyashko 15 days to respond. In early March 2025, her representative petitioned the court to leave the claim unexamined, a request with which the court agreed.

The dismissal of the administrative case against Oleg Lyashko underscores the importance of thorough examination in matters concerning political party financial reporting and highlights control challenges within party structures.
