Trump's proposals could change relations with Putin

According to hvylya.net: Eastern European countries are concerned about potential proposals from U.S. President Donald Trump to make concessions to Russian leader Putin in exchange for a peace deal with Ukraine, despite the tension in their relations.

According to Politico, executives from oil and gas companies have already expressed their readiness for possible events should such concessions be proposed and accepted by the White House.

Former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt noted that 'the worst thing for an American businessman is the restoration of cooperation with Russia.'

Despite the fact that pipelines from Russia to Europe are not being restored, American sanctions against Russia are being relaxed, which may encourage some European politicians to consider resuming imports of Russian energy resources.

'We are concerned about the possibility of returning to Russian energy... However, we hope to prove that this is a mistaken decision,' said a European official.

Trump issued an ultimatum to Putin regarding a peace deal with Ukraine, threatening secondary sanctions should the deal not be fulfilled. The U.S. position in this situation remains ambiguous, causing outrage among several European countries and American investors.

Trump's proposed concessions in exchange for a peace deal with Ukraine have raised concerns in Eastern European countries and among American investors. They prompt discussions about the possible consequences of resolving the conflict between the U.S., Russia, and Ukraine, as well as clarifying their own actions in the event of possible changes in the geopolitical landscape.
