High-Stakes Talks Commence in Abu Dhabi
According to Главком: A two-day round of high-level talks aimed at finding a path to end the war has begun in Abu Dhabi, involving delegations from Ukraine, the United States, and Russia. The Ukrainian delegation is providing hourly updates on the proceedings to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Delegation Rosters
Leading the Ukrainian delegation is Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Rustem Umerov. His team includes:

The Russian delegation is composed of representatives from its military intelligence and army.
The meetings are focused on the terms for ending Russia's war and the future logic of the negotiation process. A central topic of discussion is the situation in the Donbas region. Rustem Umerov stated that:
'the meeting was dedicated to the parameters for ending Russia's war and the subsequent logic of the negotiation process to advance toward a dignified and lasting peace.'
He also emphasized that 'the Ukrainian team is acting in a coordinated manner within the framework of the tasks set by President Zelenskyy' and that the delegation is prepared to work in various formats depending on the course of the dialogue.
These trilateral talks in Abu Dhabi could therefore represent a significant step in the search for a resolution to the conflict and achieving peace in the region.
