Which professions have the highest salaries in Ukraine in November 2025

In November 2025, the average salary in Ukraine rose to 27 thousand hryvnias, which is almost 5000 more than at the beginning of the year. This is reported by OBOZ.UA. The highest earnings are traditionally recorded in Kyiv, where employers offer an average of 31.5 thousand hryvnias.

Which cities currently have the highest salaries

After the capital, Lviv ranks next with an average of 28.5 thousand and Uzhhorod with 26.5 thousand hryvnias. Among large cities, Dnipro, Odesa, and Chernivtsi maintain a level of 25 thousand. The lowest average earnings are recorded in Kherson (19.5 thousand), as well as in Kryvyi Rih, Kropyvnytskyi, and Sumy - around 20 thousand hryvnias.

Who is being paid the most in Ukraine today

According to Work.ua, the highest salaries are offered in highly qualified fields. Here are the top paid professions:

• Marketing Director - 80,000 UAH

• .Net Developer - 80,000 UAH

• Production Engineer - 72,000 UAH

• Back-end Developer - 70,000 UAH

• Orthodontist - 70,000 UAH

• Financial Director - 70,000 UAH

• DevOps Engineer - 70,000 UAH

• Sales Department Head - 68,500 UAH

• Operations Director - 65,000 UAH

• Broker - 65,000 UAH.

The average salary increased by about 20% over the year. The median figure is based on over 209 thousand vacancies that employers posted in three months.

In 2026, further growth to 30 thousand hryvnias is expected. At the same time, the minimum wage will only increase to 8647 hryvnias, which still does not cover the basic needs of Ukrainians. Additionally, starting January 1, employers will be required to quarterly meet the employment standards for people with disabilities or pay a contribution for each unoccupied position.
