Drone Strike Damages Nova Poshta Terminal in Dnipro
Drone Attack on Nova Poshta Terminal
According to Главком: A hostile unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) struck and damaged an innovative terminal of Nova Poshta in Dnipro. At the time of the impact, terminal staff were sheltering safely and sustained no injuries. Police and State Emergency Service (SES) personnel are currently at the scene.
“We are now assessing the extent of the damage and checking the condition of cargo after the strike. The company will compensate clients for lost shipments,” Nova Poshta’s press service stated.
ATB Supermarket Warehouse Targeted
On June 3, the Russian army attacked an ATB supermarket warehouse in Dnipro. A missile hit the warehouse during the shelling, sparking a fire that has since been extinguished. Several ATB cargo trucks were damaged, but no employees were harmed. According to Serhiy Demchenko:
“One of the missiles fired during the shelling of Dnipro struck our warehouse. Fortunately, none of our employees were injured.”
Later, Oleksandr Ganzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, clarified that the enemy launched a second strike on the Dnipro district. That attack left six people requiring medical attention, five of whom were hospitalized-three in serious condition.
A Russian assault on Dnipro overnight on June 2 killed 16 people, including two children. Over 40 others were wounded, with 22 still hospitalized.
These incidents highlight the ongoing tense situation in the region, which has persisted for months. As a strategic city, Dnipro frequently faces hostile attacks, resulting in significant casualties and infrastructure damage. Authorities and local organizations are working to ensure residents’ safety and restore normal city operations, though risks remain high.
The recent drone strike on the Nova Poshta terminal is part of a broader pattern of escalating violence in Dnipro. Just hours before, another attack resulted in multiple injuries and significant damage to buildings. As the situation continues to unfold, authorities are grappling with the impact on both infrastructure and civilian safety in the region.
