Kharkiv is left without metro: what transport is operating in the city

In Kharkiv, this morning, November 10, the metro is not working due to problems with electricity supply. This was stated by the Kharkiv Metro, reports 'Glavkom'.

'Due to the problem with electricity supply, it is temporarily impossible to start train movements on the metro lines. The metro operates in shelter mode. Information about the resumption of movement will be announced later. The operation of surface transport in the city has been organized taking into account that the metro temporarily does not carry passengers,' says the statement.

The Kharkiv City Council announced the introduction of a temporary tram route No. 30: turnaround circle 'Saltivske' - center - turnaround circle 'Kharkiv-Passazhyrskyi' (via Academika Pavlova Street, Heroes of Kharkiv Avenue, Constitution Square, Poltavsky Shlyakh Street).

Temporary bus routes:

• bus station 'Industrial' - Heroes of Kharkiv Avenue - Constitution Square;
• Victory Avenue (turnaround circle of the trolleybus) - Constitution Square (via Ludwig Svoboda Avenue, Ahsarova Street, Science Avenue, Independence Avenue, Sumskaya Street);
• along the route of trolleybus No. 11;
• along the route of trolleybus No. 27.

Altered route:

• buses No. 20, 22, 31, 33, 57, 62, 67, 68, 72, 96, 99, 109, 123, 128, 140, 243, 273 - operate to Constitution Square;
• bus No. 222 - operates to 'Defenders of Ukraine' metro station;
• bus No. 228 - operates to 'Turboatom' metro station;
• trolleybus No. 13 - operates to Constitution Square (via Oleg Hromadskiy Street, Bohdan Khmelnytsky Street, and Heroes of Kharkiv Avenue).

On some routes, the intervals of movement will be significantly reduced, while on others they may increase. Some buses and trolleybuses will also not operate. In other regions of Ukraine, electricity outage schedules will also be introduced due to damage to energy facilities after attacks. It is noted that in Kharkiv there are problems with electricity supply, which is why the metro temporarily suspended operations. To provide convenience for passengers, temporary tram and bus routes have been introduced. Changes were also made to the movement of some buses and trolleybuses to optimize transport connections in the city.
