According to glavcom.ua: A surprising incident occurred in China - part of the newly built 'Hunzi' bridge collapsed. This 760-meter bridge connects the central areas to Tibet. Fortunately, no one was injured during the collapse, Reuters reports.
At the beginning of November, a threat of soil sliding was identified near the bridge in Markang, causing outrage and a quick declaration of a state of emergency. Traffic on the bridge was prohibited, and vehicles were evacuated.

The next day, a large landslide descended from the mountain, causing the collapse of the access road, supports, and spans of the bridge. Damage is being assessed, but it is still unknown when traffic on the bridge can be restored.
The 'Hunzi' bridge was built by Sichuan Road & Bridge Group and completed this year. Earlier in China, the 'highest bridge in the world' was opened, making life easier for local residents in Guizhou province.
As a result of the collapse of part of the 'Hunzi' bridge in China, no one was injured, but vehicle traffic in this area was temporarily prohibited. Currently, damage assessment and restoration timelines for bridge traffic are ongoing.
