The new academic year in Poland started with significant changes in the education system, initiated by the Ministry of National Education. They affected both the content of the curricula and the organizational aspects, particularly in discipline and physical development of students.

One of the key innovations was granting the Ukrainian language official status as a second foreign language for students in grades 7–8. This decision is aimed at supporting the cultural identity of young Ukrainians and promoting intercultural dialogue in schools.

It is worth noting that among the new subjects in the school curriculum, 'Civic Education' has appeared, aimed at forming students' civic positions, and 'Basics of Health Care', which covers topics of physical and mental health, internet safety, and sexual education.

At the end of summer, important changes were announced in the school system of Poland, aimed at developing students as individuals, forming cultural and civic identity, and improving the overall level of education in the country.
