According to glavcom.ua: In the Russian village of Matveyev Kurgan in the Rostov region, unmanned aerial vehicles launched an attack on an oil depot that supplies fuel to organizations and engages in the retail trade of petroleum products.

Local residents reported that at least two drones flew over the territory. The governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Slyusar, emphasized that during the defense of the area, three UAVs were destroyed and buildings and vehicles were damaged.

In the village of Matveyev Kurgan, several residential buildings' glazing, facades, and roofs were damaged, as well as five vehicles. Information about the injured is being clarified.'

In addition, on the night of October 9, the Defense Forces also attacked a gas processing plant and a dispatch station in the Volgograd region. It is noted that the Korobkovsky gas processing plant is one of the largest in the southern part of Russia and has a significant capacity for processing natural gas and oil gas.

During the attack by unmanned aerial vehicles on the oil depot in the Rostov region and the attacks on the gas processing plant in the Volgograd region, significant material damage was inflicted and valuable infrastructure was damaged. Authorities are taking measures to establish the culprits and prevent similar incidents in the future.
