Ternopil: 330 apartments damaged as a result of a missile attack, payment start – December 4
In Ternopil, the aftermath of the Russian attack, which resulted in the death of 34 people, is being eliminated. Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine – Minister of Communities and Territories Development Oleksii Kuleba personally visited the city and listened to reports from the leadership of the OVA, the city authorities, and relevant services, as well as communicating with local residents.
Oleksii Kuleba: 'The elimination of the aftermath is ongoing, our priority is to ensure that no person is left without attention or support. Dozens of families have lost their homes. We must act quickly and effectively to restore housing and infrastructure and provide assistance to the affected.'
According to preliminary data, 330 apartments were damaged, of which over 120 were completely destroyed. A coordination headquarters is working on-site, providing the affected with full legal support and consultations regarding compensation under the eRecovery program.
The local authorities have ensured a monthly payment of 15,000 hryvnias for the rental of temporary housing for each family. Charitable organizations provided free shelter to 11 affected families, and all residents received food and essential items.
Support and Recovery
Additional support is being provided by international organizations, and to ensure constant communication with those affected, a 'hotline' is being established to respond promptly to people's needs.
Oleksii Kuleba expressed gratitude to international organizations for their support and noted the coordinated work and active coordination of actions by local authorities.
The Ternopil Regional State Administration is represented by Nataliia Kozlovska.
Currently, the elimination of the consequences of the Russian attack continues in Ternopil, and the government, together with local authorities, is taking measures to provide assistance to the affected and restore the destroyed residential premises and urban infrastructure. A coordination headquarters is working on-site to ensure comprehensive support for affected citizens, and there is also consideration of allocating additional funds for emergency recovery work.
