A collapse of three floors of the educational building of the Energy and Communications Industrial College occurred in Vladivostok. The prosecutor's office has already started an inspection following this incident. This was reported by Russian media, writes "Glavcom".
It has been preliminarily established that on the morning of October 3, a collapse of reinforced concrete ceiling slabs and damage to part of the building's facade occurred in the college, which was put into operation in 1972.

It is reported that there are no casualties – students were supposed to arrive for classes in a few hours. Local residents report that renovation work was carried out in the summer, so there were no concerns.
Access to the college grounds is restricted, and investigators are currently investigating this incident. It should be noted that in Russia, in recent days, two schools have collapsed, one of which led to fatalities.
According to Russian media, there has been an increase in the number of similar incidents involving building collapses in Russia lately. This indicates the need for enhanced control and safety in the construction and operation of building facilities.
