Ukraine received 2.3 billion euros from the EU: what the priority funds will be used for
According to Мінфін: The Ukrainian government received financial support from the EU in the amount of 2.3 billion euros through the Ukraine Facility. Of this amount, 2.1 billion euros are loan funds, and 200 million euros are grants. The money will be used for the social and humanitarian needs of the state.
Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko believes that this support is important for stabilizing finance and state management in Ukraine amid the conflict. The implementation of over 60 planned reforms indicates the country's readiness for EU membership.
The Ukraine Facility program was launched in 2024 for 4 years, with a total aid volume for Ukraine of about 50 billion euros, and in 2025, the amount of received funds exceeded 10.6 billion euros.
