Ukraine will create a Veteran Code: what will change for millions of Ukrainians
Ukraine is actively developing veteran policy during the war, rather than waiting for the conflict to end, which is quite a rare phenomenon on the international stage. According to the speech of the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko, it is important to consider the experiences of the veterans themselves and their families when making decisions.
A meeting with representatives of veteran public organizations emphasized the need to integrate veteran policy into all spheres of the country's life to support about 5-6 million veterans and their families who will be present after the war. The Prime Minister promised that every veteran and their family will receive support in medicine, education, employment, social services, and daily life.
“Our goal is for every veteran, every veteran woman, and their families to feel effective state support: in medicine, education, employment, social services, and daily life,” emphasized the Prime Minister.
Updated concepts of state policy for veterans
