Ukrainian paper army comes to an end: what replaced reporting
The Ukrainian Armed Forces are finally leaving the status of 'Ukrainian paper army' thanks to the implementation of the digital personnel accounting system 'Impulse'. This was reported by Ivan Lysak, chief of staff – deputy head of the 4th recruitment center of the Territorial Defense Forces, in the Army TV program.
Before, personnel accounting required filling out more than ten different journals daily, which took a lot of time for the servicemen. Now, thanks to the new 'Impulse' system, this process has become much more efficient and faster.
'Personnel accounting is a huge amount of work that helps servicemen do their job without worrying about the next rank, salary, how many days they have been on the front line. All of this is accounted for, it is a huge amount of paperwork.'
The new system will provide a unified database where the necessary documents will be automatically generated. Many military units are already implementing their own programs for automating accounting, but 'Impulse' will unify all these solutions into a single system.
'There will be a large database, where all information about the serviceman will be entered. Based on this, a leave ticket, travel certificate, and so on can be issued with just three keyboard clicks.'
The Ukrainian Armed Forces are implementing the digital personnel accounting system 'Impulse', which allows for the optimization and simplification of the personnel accounting process, freeing them from excessive paperwork.
