2000 Hryvnias for Examination
Уряд України запроваджує нову програму, за якою з 2026 року громадяни віком старше 40 років отримають фінансову допомогу в сумі 2000 гривень для проходження медичного огляду.

The Government Approved the Health Screening Program for Individuals Aged 40+

According to Кабмін: The government approved the procedure for implementing a new program "Health Screening 40+" which will start on January 1, 2026. A budget of 10 billion hryvnias has been allocated from the State Budget for 2026 to implement this initiative.

The goal of the program is to timely identify risks and initial symptoms of diseases that most affect the quality of life of Ukrainian citizens, particularly cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes, and mental health issues. This program is an important step that will help avoid serious complications, emphasized Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

The government explained how the program mechanisms will work for citizens:

  • Each person aged 40 and over will receive a personal invitation in their Diya app within 30 days of their birthday. By choosing the Diya Card, individuals will receive 2000 hryvnias, which can only be spent on health screening.
  • For those who do not use the Diya app, there will be an option to undergo screening through banks and administrative service centers.
  • Examinations can be conducted in public, municipal, and private medical institutions that meet the requirements of the Ministry of Health and the National Health Service of Ukraine to participate in the program.

Soon, the Ministry of Health will publish a list of institutions where examinations can be conducted under this program. The Prime Minister thanked the teams from the Ministry of Health, the National Health Service, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, and all partners for their joint efforts.

The approved health screening program for individuals aged 40+ will become an important tool for early detection of risks and diseases, which will contribute to improving the quality of life for Ukrainians and reducing losses from serious illnesses.
