The government has created a headquarters for uninterrupted communication: how it will work

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided to take the situation into its own hands and create a coordination headquarters for the continuous operation of communication networks. The main task of the newly created headquarters is to coordinate the actions of central and local authorities, communication operators, and other bodies in case of risks and power outages. The headquarters will also analyze the situation and provide recommendations directly to the Cabinet of Ministers.

Representatives of mobile communication operators, ministries, and security services are already involved in the coordination headquarters. This is a step forward in preparing for possible unforeseen power outages and ensuring communication resilience.

Another important initiative is the deployment of additional mobile stations with backup power, which has been confirmed at high-level meetings. This is a good step forward in enhancing the reliability of communication infrastructure in the face of unforeseen circumstances.
