Starting from July 1, the operation of public transport in Ivano-Frankivsk will change. At the same time, the city has updated route maps and transportation schedules. This was reported by Fourth Studio referencing the KP «Electroavtotrans».

The municipal enterprise explained that the reduction in transport output is related to the decrease in the number of drivers and service personnel, including due to mobilization measures.

There have also been changes to the route network:

  • Trolleybus No. 2 has been extended to Northern Boulevard;

  • One trolleybus has been reduced on routes No. 6 and No. 7;

  • The number of lunch trips has been reduced on routes No. 3, No. 5, and No. 9.

The new schedule for bus and trolleybus operations will be available from July 1 on the specialized city website and in the mobile application for tracking public transport.

The KP «Electroavtotrans» also announced that information at public transport stops will be updated over the course of three days.

The enterprise emphasized that current regulations for reserving transport industry workers allow only up to 50% of mobilized individuals to continue working. According to them, this could lead to further reductions in public transport services in communities.

It should be noted that on May 13, Russian troops launched a drone strike on a residential building in Ivano-Frankivsk, resulting in four injuries.
