A shocking incident occurred in Odesa – a woman, being in a state of alcohol intoxication, beat her own three-month-old grandson. The boy suffered multiple injuries and was hospitalized with various traumas, including bruises, head and limb contusions, a concussion, and a fractured collarbone.

The police reported that the mother left the child in the care of the grandmother and went away. Upon returning, she noticed the injuries on her son's body and discovered signs of alcohol intoxication in both the mother and the grandmother.

“During the investigation of the criminal proceedings, the police established that the brutal beating of the three-month-old grandson was committed by his 50-year-old grandmother. The woman was unable to explain the full circumstances of the incident, citing her state of intoxication.”
