In Ukraine, a mechanism for compensation payments to families of deceased servicemen has been approved: who is entitled to 15 million

According to hvylya.net: On Wednesday, July 30, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved a mechanism for providing assistance to families of deceased Ukrainian military servicemen-volunteers. This information was published on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Assistance can be received by family members of deceased participants in hostilities who took part in repelling the aggression of the Russian regime alongside the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Compensation in the amount of 15 million hryvnias is paid in two parts: one fifth of the amount is paid immediately, the remainder in equal parts over 40 months.

'The procedure provides that if a family is entitled to several types of assistance - it can choose the most beneficial one. The share of a person who refused the payment is redistributed among others.'

To receive assistance, families need to submit an application by regular mail or email. The Ministry of Veterans Affairs must verify the data, request information about previous payments, and make a decision within a month. This is part of a government policy aimed at supporting families of deceased servicemen.
