Two nuclear medicine centers will be built in Ukraine: how it will change cancer diagnosis

The state enterprise 'Medical Procurement of Ukraine' has purchased equipment for the creation of nuclear medicine centers

According to hvylya.net: According to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the cost of equipment for equipping the two nuclear medicine centers amounted to UAH 370.9 million excluding VAT, which is 31.5% lower than the expected cost.

The financing of the purchase is carried out by the European Union using the Ukraine Facility instrument, with the total contract amount including VAT being UAH 445.05 million.

The delivery of equipment is planned no earlier than July 2027, as it takes more than a year to manufacture a cyclotron, which is the main element of the center.
