Teachers from Odesa region did not receive the promised 2600 hryvnias: Hetmancev appealed to the Prosecutor General

According to glavcom.ua: The head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Taxation and Customs Policy, Danilo Hetmancev, received an appeal from teachers in the Odesa region, who complain that the promised monthly supplement of 2600 UAH has not yet arrived. Hetmancev stated that this issue is not only about money but also about respect for those who teach our children, especially in difficult times. He appealed to the Prosecutor General for a check on the situation.

In his appeal, Hetmancev emphasized: 'I turned to the Prosecutor General with a request to verify these facts and assess the actions of officials responsible for the payments. If violations are confirmed, those responsible should be held accountable. Respect for the teacher begins with fulfilling promises.'

The teaching profession is one of the most important in society, so it is essential to guarantee teachers not only proper payment for their work but also respect and support from the state. The time has come to check the actions of officials and take appropriate measures to address this situation.
