Explosions in Belgorod and their consequences
According to glavcom.ua: Explosions again occurred in the Russian Belgorod due to the declared missile threat. According to reports, the local Combined Heat and Power plant (CHP) has been affected. This was reported by the publication 'Glavkom' citing Exilenova+.
Local residents report problems with electricity supply due to a series of explosions in the city and region. So far, local authorities have not provided official comments regarding the causes and consequences of the events, as well as the extent of the destruction at the critical energy facility.

Information about losses and injured as a result of these events is being clarified. At the same time, on the night of October 6, the Ukrainian Armed Forces conducted successful strikes. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the defeat of a factory producing explosives and ammunition, as well as a complex for transshipment of oil products on the occupied peninsula. This was reported by 'Glavkom', citing the General Staff.
The Ukrainian defense forces have also damaged the infrastructure of the Russian enterprise 'Factory named after Ya.M. Sverdlov', which specializes in the production of explosives. This factory has strategic importance for the Russian army.
The events in Belgorod and the strikes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine indicate an escalation of tensions in the territory where the conflict continues. This may have serious consequences for both sides and increase the risk of further escalation of the conflict in the region.
