Eurobank allocated 46 million euros to Ukraine: what the funds will be used for in 13 cities
The Ukrainian state successfully received a loan from the European Investment Bank for 46.1 million euros. This funding will be used for the restoration of urban services in several Ukrainian cities, including Dnipro, Kyiv, Lviv, and others.
In particular, energy-efficient modernization of schools, kindergartens, and hospitals is planned, along with the restoration of street lighting and improvement of water supply. This loan will help ensure the country's resilience and accelerate the reconstruction process amid military aggression. 'Funding from the EIB helps implement strategic projects aimed at ensuring the country's resilience in the context of military aggression,' said Deputy Minister Marina Denisyuk.
Key projects that will receive funding
As part of the loan received, four important projects are planned for implementation, including the modernization of schools, kindergartens, and hospitals, the restoration of street lighting, modernization of water supply, and improvement of public transport.
A loan of 46.1 million euros from the European Investment Bank will help Ukraine improve urban services and enhance the comfort level for the country's residents. This funding will be directed towards important infrastructure projects in various cities, contributing to their development and improving the quality of life for citizens.
