According to glavcom.ua: Energy workers have restored electricity supply to the Zaporizhzhia NPP, which had been without power due to systematic shelling and damage to power lines by Russian occupation troops. Repairs of other power lines are ongoing, but the station's safety was ensured by emergency diesel generators.
Ukrainian energy workers have renewed the power lines of the Zaporizhzhia NPP 42 times since the beginning of the occupation. The Ministry of Energy emphasizes that only de-occupation and returning the station under the control of Ukraine will ensure long-term nuclear safety.
It should be noted that for a month, the Zaporizhzhia NPP was in blackout after an attempt by Russia to connect it to its power grid, which has no parallels in the history of nuclear energy. Ukraine calls on the international community to condemn Russia's illegal and dangerous actions at the station and to pressure Moscow to return control over it.
